International Orders
What are the requirements for exporting reloading components (bullets and brass)?
An Export License is required to ship bullets and brass out of the US. All export license applications require a signed purchase order. A completed purchase order can be downloaded during checkout. Some countries require import certificates or permits. For more specific details on international orders see our International Orders page and select the country that you reside in.
How long does it take to get an export license?
The whole process can take up to 6-8 weeks. The time required to process an export license varies by country.
How long is the export license valid?
Up to 4 years, depending on country. The life of a license depends on the life of the import certificate/permit. Export licenses in Canada are valid for 1 year and Australia 6 months. Countries that do not issue import certificates or require import permits are valid for 4 years.
How much does the export license cost?
An export license is free, however, we do charge an export fee on special order items that we do not stock. Export fees are a not refundable.
Am I required to get an export license for each order?
No. You can include multiple orders on 1 export license. Each order is paid and shipped separately. No additional paperwork is necessary. For example, if you have a $1,000 license, you could place 4 $250 orders. Once everything on the license is shipped a new license is required. Only the items on the export license can be shipped. Once the export license application is issued no substitutions can be made.
Is an export license required for reloading equipment?
No. Reloading equipment can be shipped without a license. Export licenses are required for bullets, brass, firearms, firearm parts, and many firearm accessories. We will inform you if your order requires an export license.
Do you sell primers and powder?
We are working to add these to our inventory and sell them more frequently as they become available.
